Both my sons, Josiah and Jeremiah, have been taking math tutor with Growing Stars for about three years. I can attest that they both got “A” scores with all their math classes. In fact, my oldest son enjoys his math so much that now he got admitted in Accounting at San Jose State University. What I like about Growing Stars is that it works with the school book that the student is using, and it tutors exactly where is needed, so there is not waste of time. It emphasizes in developing the understanding of the material that the tutor is working with the student. Tutors are expert in their subject, easy to understand, flexible, and kind with their students. There is not a sense of pressure. I am well pleased with Growing Stars service, and we will continue to use it.
Not everyone can teach, no matter how knowledgeable he or she is in any subject. I began teaching Grammar, and quickly learned the text the students were made to buy was extremely I made up my own weekly Grammar Packages. Then I started teaching Composition 101 and learned that the most difficult task for students is focus...working on this alone helped many of my students. Later I taught Intro to Literature. This became a passion of mine because I had to allow for many different insights to a poem or story. Keeping in mind that another won't quite reach the same conclusion to Literary Writings made teaching this subject very successful for me.

There are different levels of Online Teaching jobs. Many companies employ online tutors to help students from grade school to college understand their school assignments and study for their tests. Tutors are responsible for finding strategies to help improve student understanding, maintaining a regular schedule and communicating with families and administrators. Both colleges and high schools employ online instructors as well. Online high school teachers and professors are tasked with learning or designing curriculum, developing lesson plans, accommodating students with varied learning abilities, tracking and improving student attendance and progress, administering and grading exams, providing academic advice and communicating with students, parents and administrators. Another quickly growing teaching position is the role of a Tes Teacher.

Online tutors work with students of varying abilities and ages. Most have at least a master’s degree and are paid on an hourly basis.
