English teachers should have outstanding vocabularies, with a firm grasp of word pronunciation and spelling and the ability to effortlessly break words down phonetically. They are expected to have a strong command of grammar and sentence structure rules, with a systematic and consistent approach to enforcing them. Grammar guidelines often require a repetitious approach, with a teaching style that balances classroom participation against the needs of individual students if they fall behind.
You can apply for an English teaching program if you are under 18 but will be 18 by the time the program starts. If this is not the case for you, we suggest looking at volunteer work that does not involve working with children and where volunteers have fewer responsibilities for now. You can always come back to teach English abroad as a volunteer once you are 18 and older.

I have been tutoring with Louisiana State University Shreveport for one semester, but have been leading group study sessions since my freshmen year of college. I first encountered the Student Success Center in the fall of 2017 when I attended a Supplemental Instruction Session for Organic Chemistry I. I found the sessions so helpful in allowing me to further understand the difficult concepts of the course through metacognitive intervention that I attended every session after that. The results of attending those sessions reflected in my grades, and I passed the course with an A. Not only did I receive helpful instruction through the Student Success Center, my confidence in my academic ability grew as well. I wanted to offer this same helpfulness and confidence to my peers, so I sought to tutor for the Student Success Center to use the same learning strategies that helped me to help my peers.
This author has obviously done a few courses, but since the lack of editing reads like a first draft, this book was difficult to read. I read over half of the book before I could not take the constant affiliate links to his "how to" program, but when there were a dozen type o's in a row, I quit reading. Phil, I am sorry for my candor. I hope you edited your videos better than you edited your book. You could have had a really great book here, instead you have what seems like a half baked marketing tool to gain organic traffic to your courses so you can achieve a higher commission. (Instructors get higher commission for bringing in their own students - which is why he has a link to his course on every page)
Familiarizing yourself with the learning management system (LMS)  platform you’re using is the best way to make sure you’re taking advantage of all that online learning has to offer your students. Not only will you reduce mistakes and fumblings in working with the system, you’ll learn ways to save time, add variety to your lessons and get insight that’s just not possible in a traditional classroom. A few components to focus on:

You will see your host countries from a completely different perspective and come to understand the culture in a profound way, all while helping students and children in developing countries as an English teacher volunteer. Help encourage students to speak English, communicate, connect with them and provide them with education. Apply as an English teaching volunteer, teach children in schools anywhere around the world and truly make a difference!
Online teaching requires special considerations. You may find that much of what you’re used to telling students verbally now needs to be translated into text. You’ll also want to know what technology options are available to make sure you’re taking advantage of your options: Are timed quizzes available? Does your learning management system (LMS) allow links to YouTube? Can students video themselves answering discussion questions, or does their homework have to be written? Beyond knowing the ins and outs of the LMS you'll be using, here are some ways to ensure a successful adaption of your curriculum:
